On which axle would you fit the better tyres?
There is this misconception about where to fit the better tyres on a car. Tyres on the driven axle wear off faster than on the driven axle. After a few kilometers of driving with unequal erosion, the question arises, where to fit the better tires? On the front or rear axle?
Unfortunately, too often, the axis is chosen based on human logic, but not driving physics.
Many accidents could be avoided by understanding driving physics, and mounting the better tyres on the relevant axle.
If you reckon they should be on the front axle for better braking and steering, or even on the drive axle, then you should watch this video tutorial. :o)
